Westport News: Neighbor Dispute Escalates

On 09/19/18, officers were dispatched to the victim’s address on a report of three bright floodlights and one green light shining into the victim’s residence from John Borg's house. The victim stated when she got home at approximately 6:30pm, three floodlights were on and shortly after, a strobe light was turned on. Officers observed photos and videos of these lights being on and shining into the house. The victim and Borg have had ongoing disputes, which resulted in Borg’s arrest for previous actions on 09/12/18. Connecticut Fallen Heroes 2018 Memorial Tribute

#Prospect CT--Recently, the Connecticut Fallen Heroes Foundation honored World War II Battle of the Bulge veterans Walter "Bud" Smith and Lou Celentano" as well as the US Navy Sailors killed onboard the USS John McCain when the ship collided with a tanker on August 21, 2017.  Also honored were Vietnam veteran Peter G. Fairfield News: Junior Leauge Volunteer-A-Thon

#Fairfield CT-- On Friday, the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County’s first-ever Volunteer-a-thon, taking place on October 12 and 13. JLEFC members will aid both long-standing and brand-new partners with 26.2 straight hours of volunteer work, completing projects chosen by their community partners especially for this extraordinary marathon event. Partners served include Operation Hope, Caroline House, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Cardinal Shehan Center, Read to Grow, and the Cyrenius H. Booth Library.
