Stratford Health Department to Offer Annual Childhood Immunization Clinics and Physicals

Stratford, Connecticut (August 9th, 2021) – The Stratford Health Department is hosting a series of immunization clinics and physicals for Stratford’s youth starting in mid-August. Westport News: Forgery/Larceny in the Third Degree

#Westport CT-- On March 26, 2018, the Westport Police began to investigate a stolen check complaintthat was lodged by a local resident. The complainant stated that his financial institution hadmailed him new checks which he said were never received. The complainant told the officer thatwhen he called his bank to ascertain why the checks had yet to arrive, he was told that one of thechecks that had supposedly been mailed to him had already been cashed. The check in questionwas made out to a person named April Pirrello in the amount of $600.00. The complainant saidhe never wrote that check nor does he know anybody by that name. Fairfield News: Garage Fire

2021-08-13 #Fairfield CT-- Around 10am firefighters were dispatched to a garage fire behind 44 Turney Road.  As impressive as the flames were, the firefighters had the fire out and under control about 15 minutes after the water supply was established.  After chasing hot spots and opening up walls to make sure the fire was out they recalled the fire within a half hour from the start.  There were no reported injuries and the fire marshal is on scene investigating the cause. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sar0jTsz_ow
