Police UPDATE:

On 11/11/2022 at approximately 8:24 pm, Stratford Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car on West Broad Street near California Street.  Upon arrival, officers found that a 48-year-old New York man was struck by a vehicle.  The striking vehicle and operator remained at the scene.  The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries where he radians in stable condition.  

Investigators are working on the investigation, and no charges have been filed as of yet.  The roadway was closed for the initial investigation and is now open.

The name of the pedestrian is being withheld at this time.

An update will be released when information becomes available.
