4:35pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Three people stole a phone and gold chain off of an individual near Boston Avenue and Goddard Street. Two were males males, one with tattoos on his forearm, neck, and chest, the other had bushy hair displayed a silver handgun. The third, a female with blonde hair in a pony tail. The three all fled the scene down Boston Avenue on bikes.
3:27pm--#New Haven CT-- Star Community Bank, 299 Whalley Avenue was just robbed by two males in a red car, make and model unknown. The robbers were wearing black bandannas and black sweatshirts. They are both armed.
12:38pm--#Trumbull CT-- Report of an odor of gas at 5520 Park Avenue.
(Bridgeport, CT – June 10, 2014) – Detectives Monday arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery and stabbing that happened over the weekend. Detectives Art Calvao and Chris Borona investigated the attack, which left the victim with multiple stab wounds including to his head, face and chest. The victim was located in the area of Main and Lumber streets. Officer Thomas Lattanzio later developed the identity of a possible suspect. When detectives spoke with the victim, he was able to identify the suspect, Jorge Valle, 28, from a photographic lineup. 2:28am--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a spectacular rollover crash that amazingly had no injuries. Witnesses tell me the dark colored sedan was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a parked pickup truck on Fairfield Avenue near Clinton Avenue. The impact rolled over the pickup truck and sent it's transmission into the front lawn. Witnesses told me there was two in the sedan but one had fled the scene, I cannot confirm this at this time. One woman appeared to be taken into custody by police. The roadway was open until about 3:10am when radio broadcast said the road was closed until further notice. 2:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- UPDATE--Shortly before 2 a.m., Police responded to a report of a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Beach and Jane Streets. First responders located the victim, who was shot in the leg. Police received basic information about a possible suspect and detectives are investigating. The possible suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts. This suspect possibly fled the scene in a small, white-colored vehicle on Beach Street.
