11:23pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police on scene where an elderly man was beat up and robbed outside George's Cafe at 890 Iranistan Avenue. Responsible are two Hispanic males who fled on foot down Iranistan Avenue. The man's wallet, phone and credit cards were taken. EMS on the way, reports say he was beaten pretty good.
10:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police received a number of calls of shots fired at Greene Homes on Highland Avenue. Reports say the shots were fired from a dark colored car with teens in the car doing the shooting. Stay safe, last night's shooting victim was hit looking out the window at a disturbance! 2:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters at a garage fire at 2490 Old Town Road. On arrival they saw nothing visible from the road and have quickly recalled the alarm of fire.
1:48pm--#Fairfield CT--Cheryl the alert mail carrier was delivering the mail on High Street. When she arrived at 429 High Street and she knocked at the door. When the elderly woman answered the door Cheryl found the residence filled with smoke. The woman said there was a fire in the home. Firefighters arrived and discovered there was a fire in the microwave oven which was out on their arrival. The firefighters ventilated the home.
