5:29pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A car and motorcycle collided at the intersection of Garfield at Madison Avenue. The motorcyclist was injured with facial lacerations according to witnesses and is expected to be okay.
How about some likes for the Bridgeport Firefighters who collected over $9,000 for sickle cell disease. Fire Chief Thode presented a check for $9,636 raised during the BFD boot drives on September 15th and 22nd to Sickle Cell Disease Association of Southern Connecticut to support sickle cell disease awareness and research.

Jahmari Cooper, 18, of Bridgeport has been arrested in Florida for the 2017 murder of Jeri Kollock. Police say Cooper fatally shot Kollock, 18, in the Green Homes Apartment C and the victim was allegedly forced to strip naked before he was killed. Cooper to be charged with Murder, Felony Murde, and Robbery 1st Degree.

Our newly designed patches are part of an innovative campaign that is comprised of over 2,675 other public safety agencies nationwide, designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. On 09-24-2018 at approximately 1am Officers responded to the area of Cutspring Road and Cheshire Street to investigate a report of several suspicious persons. The group was spotted by an off duty Stratford Officers. The group was located and the investigation determined that they had been walking the streets going through unlocked cars and stealing items such as change and pocket books that were left in the unlocked/unattended cars. The group was also found to be in possession of two (2) stolen cars from Waterbury. The adult in the group was identified as Edward James Parmlee 3 rd , age 18 from Waterbury.
