Bridgeport News: Two School Crossing Guards Hit By Car
Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Two Bridgeport School Crossing Guards were struck while working in the intersection of North Ave/Park Ave at approximately 8:12 am on Sept 12, 2017. Motorist, Larissa B. Fountain of Madison Avenue Bridgeport was operating her 2007 Nissan Sentra travelling east on North Avenue when she crossed the intersection of Park Avenue and mounted the curb striking two crossing guards on duty. The two guards were standing on the sidewalk when they were struck by the Nissan. Which then skidded about forty feet before coming to a final resting position at the North Ave entrance/exit to People's Bank.
