2024-04-08@8:31pm–#Shelton CT– Police were called to Staples at 3 Armstrong Road for two individuals who filled 3 trash bags full of merchandise and fled in a car in an unknown direction according to radio reports.

2024-04-08@8:26pm–#Shelton CT– First responders were called to Apollo Tanning on Bridgeport Avenue for an unresponsive woman in one of the tanning beds. Firefighters reported she was just sleeping.
Phantom Crash: Bridgeport Firefighters Pursue Mysterious iPhone Activation on Boston Av
2024-04-08@7:49pm–#Bridgeport CT–The Bridgeport Emergency Center received an Apple iPhone emergency activation of a crash on Boston Avenue. Firefighters searched but could not locate the wreck. A callback to the phone was an open line with no one answering. Firefighters continued to search with no luck.
Last week the ECC received a crash report on I-95 exit 27A. Apparently the phone fell out of the car while making the turn.

Ansonia News: Woman Fights Rescue
2024-04-08@1:30pm–#Ansonia CT– Police rescue a woman attempting to take her life by drowning in Coe Pond off Hemlock Drive. Firefighters are trying to bring her up the hillside with ropes but she is being hostile to them according to radio reports.

Bridgeport News: Structure Fire
2024-04-06@5:21pm–#Bridgeport CT– #ctfire– Firefighters were called to a bedroom fire in the 200 block of Vine Street. Witnesses said that everyone made it out safely. The fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire. Eight people were displaced and the Red Cross is attending to their immediate needs.
