Bridgeport News: 2 Shot Overnight
11:00PMish--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 11pm Sunday night police began receiving a number of 911 calls for shots fired. Calls from Lorraine Street, Petrie Street, Maplewood Avenue and Colorado Avenue. Police first found a man shot in the head, laying in the street on Maplewood Avenue near Laurel Avenue. The man's exact condition is not known but he was talking with paramedics. A short time later a five-year-old girl was reported shot in the hand about two blocks away at Maplewood and Colorado Avenue. I'm guessing she was hit by a stray bullet. Multiple witnesses told me they heard seven shots. Police also located a crime scene at Petrie Street across from Geraldine Johnson School off North Avenue. A woman was parked…
