11:33pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–Reports of shots fired at Greene Homes turns out to be Sanford Avenue. So far no reports of anyone or anything being hit. Radio reports say two cars were seen shooting in the air.

Bridgeport News: Security Stops Jumper
9:52pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A person attempted to jump off the Rehab Center at Mill Hill and Grant Street. Security grabbed him just as he jumped according to radio reports. The person is in Bridgeport Emergency Room for treatment. Way to go security!

4:19pm–#Fairfield Connecticut– First responders on the scene I-95 northbound. Right lane and on ramp closed. No word on injuries.
Stratford News: Structure Fire
3:31pm–#Stratford Connecticut– Firefighters on scene of a bedroom fire on the second floor at 198 Larkin Court, a duplex. Live power lines came down during the fire on the side of the house. Bridgeport was called in for mutual aid.

On August 10, 2016 a resident of the Canal Park Housing Complex located on Canal Road reported that an item was stolen from outside of her apartment sometime during the overnight hours. The investigating officer was able to develop a description of the suspect as well as the car that the suspect was driving. On August 11, 2016 at approximately 4:30 a.m. Cpl. Nowinski observed a vehicle entering Canal Park, which matched the description of the car that the larceny suspect was driving. Cpl. Nowinski ran the vehicle’s registration and discovered that the license plate affixed to the car had been reported stolen from North Carolina.
The operator of the vehicle, Mechell Perry, was detained and subsequently arrested for Larceny in the 6 th Degree (as a result of being in possession of a stolen license plate) as well as Misuse of a License Plate. Ms. Perry was held on a $500 bond with a court date of August 25, 2016 The larceny from August 10 th continues to be investigated.
Un residente de canal Park Housing Complex en Canal Road informó de que un artículo fue robado desde fuera de su apartamento an algún momento durante las horas de la noche. El agente investigador fue capaz de dar una descripción del sospechoso, así como el auto que el conducía. El 11 de Agosto de 2016 aproximadamente a las 4:30 am Cpl. Nowinski observó un vehículo que entra Canal Park, que coincidia con la descripción del auto que el sospechoso conducía, el descubrió que el número de placa esta reportado de un robo en North Carolina.
El conductor del vehículo, Mechell Perry, fue detenida y arrestada por hurto en el 6th grado ( como resultado de estar en posesíon de placa matrícula robada), así como el mal uso de una placa . La Sra Perry se llevó a cabo bajo una fianza de $500 con una fecha de corte del 25 de Agosto del año 2016. El robo de Agosto 19 sigue siendo investigado.

12:09am–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A man was shot in the 1100 block of Pembroke Street. I don’t know where he was shot but I observed him conscious and talking to EMTs in the ambulance. Police recovered a firearm according to radio reports.
