Fairfield Police Take Down Sign That Offended Citizen
1:58pm--#Fairfield CT--A Lakeview Court resident called police that a sign on Black Rock Turnpike was "offensive" to him. The sign was for a gun safety class hosted by Safe and Secure Training (SafeandSecureTraining.com). The sign was taken down by police. I interviewed First Selectman Micahel Tetreau about this back in July of 2014. He said “We value the look of our community” and that the signs are in fact illegal but “We don't have the labor to enforce it as much as we like”.
