DoingItLocal is run by Steve Krauchick. Steve has always had interest with breaking news even as an early teen, opting to listen to the Watergate hearings instead of top 40 on the radio. His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

The pole is snapped in half wires down according to police. Area is shutdown for public safety.  UPDATE: One pole down, another heavily damaged. Like I said we don't cover Stamford yet.  Scared the heck out of our viewer though!A viewer has sent in these photos of men in hazmat suits at Stamford Hospital.  Unlike the incident at Yale New Haven Hospital yesterday white tents can be seen in the left side of the photos.  We don't cover Stamford but I have reached out to other colleagues that do to investigate.  We do not know if this is a drill but as soon as we do I'll let you know!
