Man Arrested for Assaulting Ex-Wife over Discarded Beer
#Bridgeport, CT – July 30, 2014– A city man faces charges that he assaulted his ex-wife who threw away his beer because, she told police, he gets violent when he drinks. Officers Laura Azevedo-Rasuk and David Santiago responded to 598 Park St. on a report of a domestic assault Tuesday. The victim stated the incident involved her ex-husband, who resides with her. She told police that they argued when he arrived home from work and asked for his bottles of beer. She told him that she drank them.
