3:33am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters called to Tomlinson's Restaurant at the corner of Boston Avenue and Barnum Avenue for structure fire. Turns out to be workers on the roof that set the alarm off.
Assault Investigation
3:21am--#Bridgeport CT--Police are sorting out an assault that took place in the 200 block of Jones Avenue. Possibly 2 male suspects, one with a gun who assaulted a woman. 11:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police looking for a fifteen year on a BMX bike for a purse snatching on State Street Extension. Taken was a purse with $400 and a cellphone in it.
Fire rips through Stratford Home
6:01pm--#Stratford CT--A house at 25 Emerald Place was significantly damage by fire Sunday evening. The home is a side road behind the Treeland area and 911 received numerous calls about the fire. At first it was thought to be in Bridgeport and the Bridgeport Fire Department sent vehicles to Emerald Street and Emerald Place in the city but found nothing at either location. Quickly calls did come in for Stratford. Firefighters had the bulk of the fire knocked down within fifteen minutes and chased hot spots At 7:05pm firefighters completed the overhaul and the investigation for the cause begins.
