12:21am--#Fairfield CT--Merritt Parkway southbound near exit 44 a car just crashed into the woods. Reported minor injuries.
11:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Man shot at Stratford and Hollister Ave. Man was shot by a know suspects who fled on foot down Stratford Ave. towards Sixth Street. Condition of the victim not known at this time. EMS on the way. UPDATE--Man is stable, two bullets to the leg.
7:34pm--#Norwalk CT--A parent is reporting to police that they stopped at Jefferson School, walked their child to the door came back to her carr purse was taken. No mention what time of day this happened but it only takes a minute!

#FAIRFIELD, CT, June 14, 2013: At 3:41 A.M. the Emergency Communications Center received a report of smoke coming from a building at 1565 Black Rock Turnpike by a witness. The Fairfield Fire Department responded within minutes with five engine and two ladder companies. Assistant Chief Erik Kalapir arrived on scene and found black smoke coming from a one story, mercantile occupancy a “working fire” was declared. At the time, the exact location of the seat of the fire was unknown. Engine Two, under the command of LT Jay Swindon, arrived on scene and scanned the building with the thermal imaging camera to locate the highest heat concentration.
