2 shot in leg in seperate incidents
(Bridgeport, CT – June 25, 2013) – Two men were shot in the leg Tuesday night. Officer Ferdinand Ferrao responded to the area of Granfield and Wessels avenues at about 11:45 p.m. and located the victim, Lynwood Whitley, 18, of Bridgeport. He was shot in the upper left thigh. The victim told Detective Kenneth McKenna that a male came up to him and pointed a gun at him. He states he struggled for the gun and was shot. He was either unable to or unwilling to provide any further information. While police were investigating the case, another gunshot victim arrived at the hospital.
