His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. Police Identify Shooting Victim

(Bridgeport, CT – April 8, 2013) – Police Monday released the identity of a man shot in the leg over the weekend. The victim was identified as Daquan Brown, 19, of Seaview Avenue. Police Officer Esther Hailey was dispatched at 2:36 a.m. Sunday to the 1000 block of Park Avenue and found Brown there. He was shot in the left leg. He told Hailey that he was walking with his brother in the area of Iranistan Avenue and Laurel Avenue when they encountered a male arguing with several people.
