Shots fired in Stratford

8:38pm–#Stratford CT–Police receive numerous calls for shots fired in the Veteran’s Park Ave. are for numerous shots fired. Police on scene reporting all is quiet.

Fire burns through fireplace

8:42pm–#Fairfield CT #ctfire–Homeowner calls saying the fire in the fireplace has burned through the back wall. They believe the fire is now out. Firefighters just arriving on scene.

8:16pm–#Bridgeport CT–#ctfire–Tonight’s car fire is behind 1008 Norman Street. Firefighters are on the way.

13 year old grazed by car

5:20pm—#Bridgeport CT–A 13 year old was grazed by a passing car on Alice Street. The boy was not injured but it serves as a reminder to slow down, watch for children and pedestrians!

Brush Fire

2:22am–#Milford CT #ctfire–Tonight’s car fire is on I-95 northbound on the exit 36 ramp.

Van into a house

11:02pm–#Bridgeport CT–A van coming down Pearl Harbor Street sneak attacked an unsuspecting fence taking the corner of it down, crossing Granfield Avenue and crashing into the right hand corner of a house. The driver was able get out of the van on her own. The house integrity structure was not compromised. One of the occupants said it sounded like bomb going off when it happened. Police are investigating.

Not All Package Stores Will Be Open Easter

Package stores have the option to be open Easter Sunday but you can count on most to be closed according to Patrick at Premier Wine and Spirts on 525 Tunxis Hill Rd in Fairfield. Beer and wine distributors told Patrick that most of the package stores they service said they will be closed for the holiday. Premier Wine and Spirits will be closed as well but will be open until 9pm Saturday night.
