His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

#Bridgeport CT-- On November 26, 2022, at approximately 12:15 pm Bridgeport Police Officers were dispatched to 250 North Bishop Avenue on the report of a shooting that occurred at this location early this morning at approximately 1:15 am. Uniformed police officers located a crime scene outside the building and contacted the Detective Bureau. The Detective Bureau responded and has taken charge of the investigation. The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old Bridgeport man. He is being treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound to the face and is expected to survive. #Milford CT-- On November 21, 2022, officers spoke to the victim who stated that all 4 tires on their vehicle were slashed while it was parked at 252 Depot Road. They stated that Jerry Ramos had threatened their boyfriend that morning and then proceeded to go 252 Depot Road and slash their tires. During the investigation, Ramos was identified as the person who had slashed the tires on the car, resulting in $1,500 worth of damage. The unofficial kick-off to the Christmas season happened Friday night when State Senator Tony Hwang cut the ribbon and press the app to start off the season. Wonderland at Roseville is located at 226 Roseville Terrace, Fairfield. They are open to the public from dusk until 9 pm on weekdays, 10 pm on weekends, and midnight for the birthday celebration on Christmas Eve. Bridgeport Hospital called the police that they had a gunshot victim come in by private vehicle. Police investigated and found a second victim shot in the kneecap. A gunshot was fired hitting a worker of the restaurant fortunately grazing him on the side of his face. He refused medical treatment. A secondary crime scene was found on Honeyspot Road with heavy police presence from both Stratford and Bridgeport. #Ansoinia CT-- On November 21, 2022, the Ansonia Police Department, working in conjunction with the State of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, served a search warrant on Mo’s Smoke Shop, 213 Pershing Drive. Numerous items containing cannabis were located and seized from the store. Along with the illegal cannabis products the store was in violation of other State regulations. As a result of the violations the store has been temporarily closed. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
