#Washington, DC – The House of Representatives passed a spending package designed to fund large portions of the government for the next fiscal year. Included in the package was the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Appropriations Act, which contained $61 billion in emergency spending to expand access to broadband for underserved communities. Bridgeport New: 2 Shot On The East Side
Police UPDATE: The shooting involved two victims who were seated in a vehicle. A female was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital after undergoing surgery early this morning. A male also seated in the vehicle was shot in the leg and also was treated at Bridgeport Hospital for non- life-threatening injuries.
