#Bridgeport CT--On the fifteenth of June in the year 2022, at approximately 1748 hours, the Emergency Operations Center in Bridgeport CT received multiple reports regarding an unfortunate incident involving a pickup truck and a gas-powered scooter at the intersection of Kossuth St. and Putnam St. According to the concerned citizens who placed the calls, a red Ford F150 collided with two men who were riding on the scooter, and the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene in a southerly direction on Kossuth St. The authorities immediately dispatched the American Medical Response and the Bridgeport Police to the site of the accident. Bridgeport News: Man Shot
Police UPDATE: On March 8, 2023, at approximately 2:50 pm the Bridgeport Police Department received reports of shots fired near the intersection of State Street & Iranistan Avenue. Police Officers responded to the area and located a 52-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. He was quickly transported to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition. No suspect information at this time. The Detective Bureau has responded and taken over the investigation. Detectives have collected evidence in the 800 block of Iranistan Avenue and are currently conducting interviews. The scene on Iranistan Avenue is now clear of police activity and has been reopened to the public. This appears to be an isolated incident. …
