2021-04-11@10:25pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Two college students were injured when the front porch stoop collapsed plunging them down 12 feet in the 600 block of Queen Street. The assistant fire chief said it was something he's never seen before. A cement slap was placed over the the foundation and over the years the cement eroded causing the collapse. The students were able to get themselves out of the hole prior to the firefighters arrival.

#Bridgeport CT-- Last night, the Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) was put on administrative leave after serving a warrant on Chestnut Street. They knocked on the door, properly announcing themselves when a man jumped out of a second story window to escape, but landed wrong and died as a result. The state police are investigating and the bodycams support that the team used proper procedure. Rumor has it that Chief Garcia wanted to disband the team get get more officers on patrol. ASSAILANTS, SEIZE LOADED FIREARM March 30th, 2021, Task Force Officers from the CSP Gang Unit and FBI Safe Streets received credible information that occupants of a black Nissan Maxima with a paper registration tag out of Texas were seen at the Sunny Side Inn located at 174 Lake Street in Bridgeport with what appeared to be firearm. Task Force Officers responded to the area and conducted surveillance of the Sunny Side Inn. While in the area a black Nissan Maxima with Texas temp tag pulled into the parking lot.
