Firearms and Narcotics Violations

On May 27, 2022 at approximately 10:00 pm members of The Bridgeport Police Department Narcotics and Vice Division conducted proactive motor vehicle enforcement in the downtown area of Bridgeport. While traveling on Lafayette Square, Officers observed a silver Infiniti I35 turn onto Golden Hill Street without utilizing a proper turn signal.  The vehicle was also being operated with an obscured paper license plate. As a result of these violations a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Golden Hill Street.  The operator of the vehicle was identified as 33-year-old Seth Williams of Bridgeport Connecticut.  Williams told the officers that he did not have a driver’s license (suspended since June 2007).  Williams was also unable to produce proof of registration or insurance.  Williams exited the vehicle at which time narcotics were observed…

Bridgeport News: Police Investigate Homicide #8

2022-05-28@5:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 5:30 Saturday morning police and EMS were called to Knoll Place an unresponsive, woman. The 30 year old woman who was found shot to death. Detectives are on scene and are working some strong leads according to police. This appears to have been an isolated incident where the victim knew the shooter. Bridgeport News: Pursuit and Crash

#Bridgeport CT-- On Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 1933hrs a Bridgeport Police Officer was on patrol in the area of Maple Street, when she came upon a vehicle in front of her patrol cruiser with parties acting suspicious. The Officer proceeded to conduct a motor vehicle stop and the vehicle proceeded to disobey the lights and sirens and flee in a high rate of speed through various city streets and onto Route 8/25. The Officer called off the pursuit due to the recklessness of the fleeing vehicle. She provided a description of the vehicle to the Bridgeport ECC that transmitted the information out to the Bridgeport Police Department and other local Police Departments.
