#Trumbull CT-- #Bridgeport CT--In a story I was first to tell you about, On Sunday, May 10th, at about 2:00 p.m., a man recklessly driving a stolen vehicle struck and damaged several cars in Bridgeport, causing injuries, and then fled prior to being apprehended by police on Route 25 in Trumbull. Daniel Baker, age 37, of Bunker Ave., Meriden, was arrested when officers forced his car to a stop to prevent further damage and injury. Trumbull Police were advised that the suspect vehicle, a blue 2005 Honda Civic, had struck several vehicles in Bridgeport and was last seen traveling northbound on Main Street into Trumbull. Bridgeport News: 9 ATVs Seized

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Mayor Ganim announces the seizure of eight dirt bikes and one quad in an effort to stop residents from illegally operating ATV’s on city streets. The seizure is the result of an operation conducted by a designated Bridgeport Police detail. Dirt-bikes and quads have been increasingly visible throughout the city driving recklessly on city streets, disobeying traffic signals, disobeying stop signs and boxing in vehicles. As a matter of public safety, recognizing numerous resident complaints, the illegal actions and possibility for public harm led the Bridgeport Police Department to institute a Dirt-Bike/Quad detail. Bridgeport News: Person Shot In The Head While Driving

Police UPDATE: Police detectives said On May 10, 2020 at 9:18pm, the Bridgeport Emergency Communication Center began receiving calls of a preliminary report of a party shot in the area of Vine Street and Park Avenue. According to Police, a male victim was struck once in the neck by gunfire while driving away from the area of Park Avenue/ Vine St. after a reported altercation. After being shot, the victim lost control of his vehicle and crashed. A male passenger was ejected through the windshield. Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment.
