Bridgeport Police Make Homicide Arrest

#Bridgeport CT–September 16, 2019,  Officer Martocchio served an arrest warrant on Eugene Brown (DOB: 3/13/84 ofFreeman Street). The warrant was obtained by Detective Cintron, who was the lead detective on the June 24, 2019 homicide of Anthony McKinstry at 684/686 Bishop Ave. Brown is charged with Murder, Use of a Firearm for A,B,C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, and Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit. He has a $1,000,000 bond. The arrest was the result of the outstanding work done by Detective Cintron and all the others that assisted in this case.

Bridgeport News: Tonight’s Shooting

2019-09-15@11:05pm–Tonight’s shooting either happened at Tesiny Circle during a shoot out between occupants of two cars.  There are also cars shot up at Overland and Strand Street.  The victim was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.  They suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the ankle.

Bridgeport News: Man Shot 12 Times Clings To Life

2019-09-15 @ 12:12am–#Bridgeport CT– Police say Israel Marquis, 23, is in critical condition after being shot 12 times at the Flavorz Famous Chicken and Fish located at 1653 Barnum Avenue.  The gunman, a skinny black male wearing a gray hoodie with a gun in his hand ran from the restaurant onto Willow Street towards Boston Avenue.   Chief AJ Perez said the have excellent video which will aid in the investigation.

Bridgeport News: Home Invasion

Police confirmed around 6:30pm, at 555 Trumbull Ave, reports on a home invasion where a male and female suspects entered a home a took a women’s purse and fled. Male and female were both wearing black sweaters. They were apparently armed with a baseball bat.
