2019-08-05 @ 5:18pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters were called to extricate a driver from this crash at East Washington and William Street.  One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

 

2019-08-25 @4:47pm–#Bridgeport CT–A GBT was hit by a car at the corner of Park and Maplewood Avenue.  According to police spokesperson Terron Jones 3-4 people were injured including 2 children.  Witnesses told me it was a PT Cruiser that hit the bus and police confirmed the vehicle fled the scene.

 

2019-08-04 @ 10:09pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pedestrian was hit on Fairfield Avenue between Melrose and Princeton Street.  The victim was sitting up talking with EMS.  The striking car remained on scene.

 

2019-08-04 @ 8:43pm–#Bridgeport CT–#cttraffic– Firefighters were called to their second vehicle fire, this time off exit 27 soutbound of I-95.  Hey, at least they stopped hitting buildings!

 

2091-08-04 @ 8:14pm–#Bridgeport CT– Bridgeport and Fairfield Marine units joined forces two rescue two people strand off West Beach on jet skis.

2019-08-04 @ 8:12pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police received a number of phone calls for a shoot out between two individuals on East Main Street between Berkley Place and Kingsbury Road.  Police located shell casings and blood and then received a report of a man shot at Bridgeport Hospital.  His condition is not known at this time.

 

2019-08-04 @ 7:37pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man was robbed at gunpoint on Noble Avenue near Pulaski Street by three males.  One of them had a firearm hit him on the head with the gun and robbed him of cash.

2019-08-04 @ 7:07pm–#Bridgeport CT– #cttraffic– Today’s vehicle fire is on I-95 northbound near exit 30.  The vehicle is fully engulfed and the highway is now shutdown.

 

2019-08-03 @ 9:30pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man at Lincoln and Madison Avenue had a motorcyclist pull up to him and ask to use his cellphone.  Guess what?  Yup when the phone was handed to the motorcyclist he took off.

2019-08-03 @ 6:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man snatched a woman’s purse in the Cumberland Farms at 2585 East Main Street, the man ran to his car parked in the parking lot.  The woman’s husband realized what was happening and rammed the purse snatcher’s car.
