2019-08-02 @ 9:12pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on the way to the house that was struck by a car on Carnegie Avenue found a man hit by a car on Boston Avenue near Bishop Avenue. The ambulance that was on the way to Carnegie Avenue transport the pedestrian to the hospital and another ambulance was dispatched to Carnegie Avenue. I don’t believe the same vehicle was responsible for both accidents.

2019–08-02 @ 3:27pm–#Bridgeport CT—Bridgeport Police are investigating after a child is hit by a car. It happened on Islandbrook Avenue near Chase Street Officials say the child was struck while crossing the street, but was not seriously injured. They say the driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
2019-07-02 @ 2:48pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters were called for a water rescue near the dam at Beardsley Park. Assistant Chief Firpi told the because of all the drownings in the past, mainly due whirlpools the made a full turnout with boats and divers. The children that were in the water did get out prior to their arrival. Firpi said it was an opportunity to educate the parents, babysitter and children that no swimming means no swimming for a reason.
2019-08-02 @ 2:22pm–#Bridgeport CT– Today’s building strike happened at Foxledge Condos on Canterberry Road. Yesterday McDonald’s at 1700 Park Avenue was hit as well as the Dairy Queen at 949 Huntington Road were struck by vehicles. On Tuesday an SUV slammed through Tony’s Smoke Shop with injuring two, one seriously.
