News that Amazon is looking for another city to host its second headquarters has Mayor Ganim and Fairfield Selectman Mike Tetreau very interested to be home to the largest Internet-based retailer in the world. “We believe that the City of Bridgeport and Fairfield County have the attributes and meet the criteria that Amazon is looking for as evidence displayed in the analysis done by Market Watch, which publicized 12 cities throughout the country, Bridgeport is one of those cities selected,” explained Mayor Ganim. I-95 Crash With Ejection
UPDATE: State Police accident report said that Jose Cupertino Lopez-Siquiej of Bridgeport was driving his 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup in the center lane when he attempted to change to the right lane striking a Freightliner truck. He lost control of the pickup truck and rolled the pickup before striking a concrete barrier and rolled back upright. The report said Jose was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital.
