10:45am--#Bridgeport CT-- #Trumbull CT-- A police officer on patrol located a car that appeared to have lost control off Route 8 and into a wooded area near Old Town/Quarry Road area on a steep hill. First responders are attempting to access the car. This news report is made possible by:
9:38pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Multiple police officers working the Bluefish game traffic witnessed a road rage incident which caused a multi-car accident at South Frontage and Lafayette Street. One officer gave chase but was bit by the suspect. The man was arrested.

Last night at 10pm, Bridgeport Police Officers responded to the corner of Beadsley Street and Newfield Avenue on a report of a person shot. They found the victim, Eric Diaz (DOB: 4/3/98 of 5 Yarrington Ct), shot in the abdomen. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance, where hours later he died. 10:44am, Thursday-- #Bridgeport CT-- A contractor using a torch for plumbing allegedly started a fire at 3648 Maidson Avenue. The Red Cross helped the residents with finding a place to stay. The fire marshal was called in to investigate.
11:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police catch a man breaking into cars parked in the garage on John Street. They also recover the stolen items. This report is made possible by:
3:13pm--#Trumbull CT-- Police received numerous reports of shots fired on Quarry Road. A short time later police on duty at St. Vincent's Hospital called to report a blue car showed up with a victim of a gunshot wound. Trumbull police have located shell casings at White Plains and Quarry Road. 1:24pm--#Bridgeport CT-- This driver didn't have a prayer after being cut off on Bishop Avenue and hit the Christian Revival Assembly of God church at 441 Bishop Avenue. There were two injuries including a pregnant woman. Both were transported to the hospital. The church did not appear to suffer any structural damage.
