Bridgeport News: Bridgeport’s 20th Homicide Investigated
Last night at 10pm, Bridgeport Police Officers responded to the corner of Beadsley Street and Newfield Avenue on a report of a person shot. They found the victim, Eric Diaz (DOB: 4/3/98 of 5 Yarrington Ct), shot in the abdomen. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance, where hours later he died. Bridgeport News: Contractor Starts Fire
10:44am, Thursday-- #Bridgeport CT-- A contractor using a torch for plumbing allegedly started a fire at 3648 Maidson Avenue. The Red Cross helped the residents with finding a place to stay. The fire marshal was called in to investigate.

Trumbull News: Person Shot
3:13pm--#Trumbull CT-- Police received numerous reports of shots fired on Quarry Road. A short time later police on duty at St. Vincent's Hospital called to report a blue car showed up with a victim of a gunshot wound. Trumbull police have located shell casings at White Plains and Quarry Road. Bridgeport News: Car Hits Church
1:24pm--#Bridgeport CT-- This driver didn't have a prayer after being cut off on Bishop Avenue and hit the Christian Revival Assembly of God church at 441 Bishop Avenue. There were two injuries including a pregnant woman. Both were transported to the hospital. The church did not appear to suffer any structural damage.
