4:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police and the Bridgeport Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that was lit on a school bus at the intersection of James and Harral Avenue. Firefighters said it was minor in nature and the item lit on fire was thrown out the window but they are required to investigate any fire lit on a school bus no matter how minor. The age of the students on the bus were unknown and the bus was emptied of all students when I arrived.
#Bridgeport, CT – On October 3, 2015 at around 10:20 p.m., a Bridgeport police officer responded to a report of parties unloading a Target store tractor trailer near the corner of Harriet St. and Crescent Ave. Arriving on the scene, the police officer observed the reported Target tractor trailer with the rear door to the trailer halfway open. At this time, the police officer observed three Hispanic males run to a motor vehicle parked facing southbound on Harriet St. directly behind the Target tractor trailer. The motor vehicle, a 1993 blue Toyota Corolla, was filled with boxes. The police officer approached the three Hispanic males in his patrol car and activated the vehicle’s lights and sirens. 6:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- An armed robbery just occurred at at Paradise Beauty Salon at 736 State Street. The suspect was a light skinned Hispanic male wearing a hoodie, dark jacke, blue jeans and a fake Santa beard. He fled in backyards towards Black Rock Avenue into a Dodge Caravan.
