4:44pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- #Westport Connecticut-- One of the two ATM's stole last night in Westport was recovered in Bridgeport on Railroad Avenue between South Avenue and Garden Street. An ATM was stolen from a CVS and another from the Citgo Wheels on Post Road East. Bridgeport Police Detectives called Westport Detectives to the scene. The thieves were able to open the ATM and take the money from the machine.

#Bridgeport Connecticut-- The city, along with U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal hosted a press conference about the shooting that left 13 wounded on Plymouth Street (off Boston Avenue). Detectives believe that there were at least two gunmen hiding in the bushes when the shooting began. There was a large party that was denied a permit by police earlier because it was a for profit party with the sale of alcohol. When they began shooting everyone including the DJ said it was fireworks, until they realized people were being shot. Eleven people had non-life threatening injuries. One woman is in critical condition and was transferred to Yale New Haven Hospital with a gunshot to her face. She will require reconstructive surgery…
9:11pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Firefighters quick response to a fire on the second floor of 1169 Iranistan Avenue prevented it from spreading to the entire multi family home. Firefighters made primary and secondary searches for anyone inside the home and found it empty. The children were huddled in an SUV across the street with their aunt as the watched firefighters work. They quickly had the bulk of the fire knocked down but had stubborn flames in the rafters of the roof. A firefighter emerged with the family dog. They worked feverishly to save the dog but the pup did not make it.
