12:11am–#Bridgeport CT–An alert Papa John deliveryman was making a delivery on Coleman Street when he noticed masked men approach. He got in his car and fled. The suspects got in their green Honda Accord and fled. A plate number was given to police and and an alert officer has the car with 2 occupants and masks at Spring and Noble Avenue. Great heads up by everyone!

1:22am–#Bridgeport CT–State Police were pursing a stolen vehicle on I-95 when the car got off exit 28 East Main Street. Bridgeport Police are assisting them and Trumbull Police sent in their K-9 in the Pembroke and Cedar Street area.

First elected to the General Assembly in 2008, Grogins has previously served on the Bridgeport City Council, starting in 1991. She is a currently the Deputy Majority Leader serving as a member of the legislature’s Education, Judiciary, Legislative Management, and Planning and Development Committees.
“Auden is a dedicated public servant who cares deeply about her community. In both private and public capacities, she’s spent a career serving those who need representation. Her breadth of legal knowledge is exceptional, and I know she will do an outstanding job,” Governor Malloy said. “Auden has earned the respect of her colleagues not only in the legal community, but also in the General Assembly. Grogins holds a law degree from Quinnipiac University and a B.S. from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She will not be taking the oath of office for her General Assembly seat on January 7th.
8:33pm–#Bridgeport CT–Another house has been shot at, this time on Birdseye Street. Caller said it happened around 7pm today and he has recovered the bullet.

6:44pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police called to the 200 block of Clinton Avenue where a parent has found a bullet and two holes in their daughter’s bedroom. The bedroom is on the third floor. Shell casing were also found outside, uncertain when it occurred. Police are investigating.

So far no reports from local hospitals of anyone being shot. Bridgeport Police investigate the area and collected some evidence.
