Police are saying it was 10-15 youths who ran in different directions after is happened. The victim has been stabbed in the leg. Bridgeport Police Need Help IDing Bank Robber

#Bridgeport, CT -- Sept. 20, 2014 -- Bridgeport Police Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred a TD Bank branch at 4865 Main St. at about 6:25 p.m. yesterday. Detectives obtained information showing the perpetrator parked what is believed to be a white-colored Chevy Suburban on Minturn Street and walking to the bank. He later fled the scene on foot after the robbery, entered his car, and traveled down the wrong way on Minturn Street onto Old Town Road.Detectives are releasing three still photographs of this wanted party captured from video footage. #Bridgeport, CT – Sept 19, 2014 – Detectives are attempting to identify a suspect who tried to hold up a business in the 4200 block of Main Street.Detectives Art Calvao and Kenneth McKenna responded to an attempted robbery that happened shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday at the Uptown News, at 4200 Main St.Detectives secured video footage from the location and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the would-be robber.The hooded suspect entered the store with a plastic grocery bag and a weapon. It is unclear if the weapon was an actual handgun or a facsimile. He ordered the employee to fill the plastic bag with money. When the employee called out for the owner of the business, the robber…

Firefighters say it is an electrical issue and have recalled. Police tracked the two to the Bridgeport town line near Mason Street. Also found on them were 3 packs of Duracell AAA and two packs AA batteries with no receipt. Police from both departments are now meeting at the Staples Plaza, unknown if they suspect the shoplifting of batteries from there as they are still investigating. Bridgeport Police Arrest 2nd Suspect in Homicide

#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 14, 2014 – Police apprehended a second suspect in connection with an Aug. 10shooting that killed a 21-year-old man. The 17-year-old suspect was apprehended yesterday by School Resource Officer Jonathan Forestier at Lakeview Cemetery. He was charged with murder and other charges and is believed to be the gunman who shot Ryan Hernandez during a confrontation at Park Avenue and Olive Street. The teen made arrangements to turn himself in to Forestier. Detectives Robert Winkler and Ada Curet investigated the case. The investigation and video footage from the scene showed at least two males arriving at the location in a car and showed the victim approaching the vehicle.
