5:00pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Another deliveryperson was robbed. This time on Asylum Street. The New China deliveryperson was robbed by four males, one had a gun which may have been a fake gun but he didn't want to find out differently. The police are at the restaurant on Huntington Turnpike investigating.
4:04pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are on scene at Platt Place breaking up a large party. On scene officers requesting additional officers and to use caution as one officer was almost hit by a bottle.
2:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a stabbing. A woman stabbed another woman. According to radio reports the victim was on Vines Street and is on the way to St. Vincent's Hospital. The suspect was known to the victim and supposedly there is a restraining order on her. The suspect lives in the 400 block of Trumbull Avenue. A short time later police received a call that the suspect was at the corner store on Trumbull Avenue threatening people with the knife. Police arrived and have arrested the woman. #Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating two drive by shootings today. The first incident occurred on Grant Street around 10:30. A silver or gray SUV style BMW was seen fleeing the scene. Another vehicle was shot but no one was in the car. Just after 12 noon a red Honda Civic was involved in a drive by on Hawley Avenue. Again no one was hit. It is not known if the two incidents are connected Hawley and Grant are 3 miles apart from each other.
9:20pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of another crash at Iranistan Avenue and Fairfield Avenue. Avoid the area.
(Bridgeport, CT -- April 30, 2014) – A Fairfield man was arrested after he falsely reported that he was stabbed and poisoned Tuesday. Police responded to Seaver Circle at 2 a.m. and encountered the 911 caller. The man, Ardit Fejzaj, 26, of Fairfield, told police that he had, in fact, not been stabbed and he stated that he said that he had been stabbed expecting police response would be faster. He went on to state that he had been poisoned by his friends and identified a supposed suspect. Police went to the nearby address of the “suspect” and explained why they were there. A family member called the man and he arrived home a short time later. He explained to police that…
4:47pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police observe a man with a gun in his waistband entering a barber shop at the corner of Boston Avenue and Orchard Street. Turns out it was an illegal gun and they took him in custody without incident.
