Bridgeport News: Police Investigate Stabbing

2:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating a stabbing.  A woman stabbed another woman.  According to radio reports the victim was on Vines Street and is on the way to St. Vincent's Hospital.  The suspect was known to the victim and supposedly there is a restraining order on her.  The suspect lives in the 400 block of Trumbull Avenue.  A short time later police received a call that the suspect was at the corner store on Trumbull Avenue threatening people with the knife.  Police arrived and have arrested the woman. Bridgeport News: Drive By ShootingS

#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating two drive by shootings today.  The first incident occurred on Grant Street around 10:30.  A silver or gray SUV style BMW was seen fleeing the scene.  Another vehicle was shot but no one was in the car. Just after 12 noon a red Honda Civic was involved in a drive by on Hawley Avenue.  Again no one was hit.  It is not known if the two incidents are connected Hawley and Grant are 3 miles apart from each other.

Man Charged With Making False Report

  (Bridgeport, CT -- April 30, 2014) – A Fairfield man was arrested after he falsely reported that he was stabbed  and poisoned Tuesday. Police responded to Seaver Circle at 2 a.m. and encountered the 911 caller. The man, Ardit Fejzaj, 26, of Fairfield, told police that he had, in fact, not been stabbed and he stated that he said that he had been stabbed expecting police response would be faster. He went on to state that he had been poisoned by his friends and identified a supposed suspect. Police went to the nearby address of the “suspect”  and explained why they were there.
