BRIDGEPORT TASK FORCE INTERCEPTS MAN IN POSSESSION OF FIREARM PRIOR TO POTENTIAL SHOOTING INCIDENT

According to reports, Palmer had recently been involved in a physical altercation and was believed to be searching for those responsible. Officers located Palmer's vehicle on Remington Street and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, Palmer attempted to discard a firearm by throwing it out the window, shattering the passenger side glass.
