5:17pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Police were on Black Rock Turnpike when two men entered the Shell Station at 2424 Black Rock Turnpike allegedly stealing lotto tickets from the business and gave chase. They caught up with them on the Merritt Parkway and took two in custody. Police checking with Darien Police to see if it is connected with the lottery tickets stolen from the Exxon Gas Station on the Boston Post Road. Fairfield Police dealt with her yesterday according to radio broadcasts. There is also a male on another car who has consumed too many beverages and creating a disturbance. Connecticut Post reporter Daniel Trepfer reports Sabrina DaSilva was shot nine times on July 3rd. The suspect, Walter DaSilva, 45, a Brazilian citizen is being held on $500,000 bond pending and extrication hearing. The Post reports that “he was also held on a warrant charging him with violating his probation on a 2002 conviction in Massachusetts for aggrevated assault with a weapon and attempted murder”. First Selectman Michael C. Tetreau announced today that the Town of Fairfield is renewing its partnership with a New York-based company to produce a series of community videos to be hosted on the Town’s official website (www.fairfieldct.org). Through this initiative, CGI Communications will develop up to ten promotional videos that will highlight the many elements that make Fairfield such an attractive community to live, work and play. Fairfield had previously worked with CGI on a similar project in 2010.
