Fairfield News: Water Rescue As Boat Runs Aground

5:22pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--Firefighters were called for a water rescue first at reef near the South Benson Boat Marina at 471 Turney Road.  Firefighters thoroughly checked the area and found no boats on the reef.  A short time later firefighters received a call from Sea Tow, a private boat rescue company was out with the boat at "Sunken Island" at the end of Fairfield Beach Road.   A nearby homeowner told me this was only the second large boat he has know to get caught up and that they had to be from out of the area, it turns out the were from New York.   Police and fire boats were not able to get too close to the boat otherwise they would…

Fraudulent Use Of Credit Cards

The Fairfield Police Detective Bureau is investigating a fraudulent use of a credit card at the Target store located at the Westfield shopping mall in Trumbull. On 07/01/16 a vehicle was entered while parked in the lot of Fairfield Warde High School. A gym bag containing a debit card was taken and fraudulently used at Target. The three suspects (pictured below) were captured on surveillance video utilizing the victim’s credit card to pay for the merchandise. They were then seen exiting the parking lot in a newer model, white 4 door vehicle. UPDATE:  3/3/2017 at 6:40pm--Neighbors calling the naked woman is out walking in traffic again.  The photo and report below is from July 2016 when it was a lot warmer outside!   10:22pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Police responded to a naked woman walking Brentwood Avenue near Kings Highway East.  It did not appear to be drug related, possibly a special needs woman.  The female police officer showed great compassion in helping the woman.
