#Bridgeport, CT – The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that they will host a one day baseball camp at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on Saturday, September 17. This Bluefish Baseball Camp will provide an exciting opportunity for your child to learn from their favorite Bluefish players and coaches.
This one day camp is a great way for kids of all ages to have fun, learn fundamentals about baseball and improve their skills. This camp will cover all aspects of the game including hitting, throwing, fielding, base running and more! The camp is open to all boys and girls between the ages of five and 13. Campers will be grouped by age and ability, with all instruction done by current Bluefish players, coaches and staff who will share their own unique expertise and knowledge for a one-of-a-kind camp experience. Each camper will receive a Bluefish hat, lunch with the players, and a ticket to the Bluefish game later that evening, where they will be recognized on the field between innings.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17. Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and includes lunch. The cost of this camp is $75. To sign your child up, CLICK HERE

#Bridgeport, Connecticut –The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced the full lineup for their second annual ‘Fish Fest music festival, which will take place at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on Saturday, August 13th. “We had a great crowd for ‘Fish Fest 2015, so we are bringing it back in 2016,” says Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole. “Everybody knows you can never have too many live music events during the summer months, so we encourage all of our fans to enjoy some local bands at the ballpark.”

Ronald Bansak was arrested in June of 2016 for Risk of Injury to Children, Assault 2nd degree, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Restraint, and Interfering with an Emergency 911 Call. Bansak was given an Order of Protection to not have contact with the victim of that incident. Bansak was also ordered to have no contact with others in the victim’s life. In July of 2016, Bansak proceeded to send several text messages to family members of the victim. A warrant was completed for Bansak’s arrest for Criminal Violation of Protective Order. Bansak turned himself in on 07/25/16 and posted the $30,000.00 bond.
