Police Activity On Jackman Ave Fairfield

12:12pm–#Fairfield–There is police activity on Jackman Avenue area as police search for two males that were  seen going through backyards.  The pair had bicycles which they abandoned one police arrived.   Police are searching the surrounding area.  If live in the area and see someone in your backyard at this time call 911 right away.

Flyer Distribution First Thought Suspicious In Black Rock

11:54am–Police  investigated suspicious activity off Ellsworth Street after numerous calls from residents.  Turns out the four men reported wereistributing flyers for a landscaping company.

Bridgeport Student Advances to National Spelling Bee!

DANBURY — Shrenik Kankaria couldn’t spell “akaryote,” but Abram Goda could spell “rubicelle.”  As a result, Goda, a 12-year-old seventh-grader at the Multicultural Magnet School in Bridgeport, will head to Washington, D.C., in May to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.  Connecticut Post has the good news here…….

Whose Job Is It?

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
