7:02pm--#Bridgeport CT #Statford CT-- Pursuit of a stolen vehicle that started in Bridgeport ended at exit 53 of the Merritt Parkway.  Police did arrest the suspect.  Special thanks to Luis for sending the photo in! Stratford News: Teens on Bikes Detained In Robberies

10:44pm--#Stratford CT--Some good police work have a couple of teen big trouble.  They were wanted for robberies the last two nights in the Barnum Avenue Cutoff area.  Taken were bicycles and wallets.  Used in the robberies were pepper spray and a knife.  Police located them near the Sterling House on Main Street.   Qué bien que la policía tiene un par de adolescentes un gran problema. If you think there are a lot more signs cropping up all over town you aren't imagining it and no it isn't political season.....yet. I've been in talks with First Selectman Michael C. Tetreau for about three weeks now regarding the advertising signs cropping up all over the town. The signs seem to be cropping up on public common areas at library, school and major intersections. But if you look around the visual pollution has been seen in Bridgeport, Stratford and even in Derby. The biggest issue for Fairfield has been enforcement. Westport News: Armed Bank Robbery

5:00pm--#Westport CT-- The TD Bank at 1111 Post Road East was robbed at gunpoint.  The robbers were two black males driving a black Volkswagen hatchback with plate # 213TZV which is a stolen plate.  Stratford and Shelton also had similar robberies today from the same two.  UPDATE--Westport has one in custody and one still at large.  6:19pm--#UPDATE: Police have recovered the gun and money. One in custody one still at large.

Heart Attack NO Drowning at Short Beach in Stratford

Just before noon time today a call came in for a person in the water near the concession stand at Stratford's Short Beach.  The result of that call was a heart attack.  We don't normally report on health related calls so we did not report on it.  Around the same time Bridgeport Fire's Marine Unit was DRILLING as we had reported for a drowning at Pleasure Beach.  I even posted how I wanted to go to the call but they did say it was a drill.   I just confirmed with Stratford Police that there was a person found in the water, it is under investigation but they cannot confirm a drowning.  There has been no other calls but other media…
