Trumbull News: Warrant Round Up Leads To Stolen Vehicle Recovery

#Trumbull CT-- On Thursday, February 20, Trumbull Police detectives conducted a warrant sweep to serve outstanding arrest warrants on local criminals in the area, which resulted in four (4) arrests and the recovery of a stolen car. Detectives coordinated efforts with other local police agencies to track down individuals who have not been held accountable for criminal incidents that they had been involved in, and during this time, a recently stolen vehicle was recovered. During the arrest warrant sweep, Trumbull detectives located a vehicle in Bridgeport that had been stolen the night before from LA Fitness, at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. Trumbull News: Teen Arrested Twice For Trumbull Mall Robberies

A 14-year-old Bridgeport teen was arrested Sunday afternoon, January 26, following his involvement in two robberies at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. The teen was identified as the suspect in two separate incidents where cellphones were snatched from mall shoppers and he was subsequently charged with robbery and other related charges.   At about 5:30 p.m., on January 25th, the 14-year-old teen, along with his 17-year-old brother and other unidentified teens, grabbed a cellphone from the hands of a teenaged girl at the Westfield Trumbull Mall, before they fled the area. Trumbull Police Promotions

#Trumbull CT--On Monday, January 6, 2020, Trumbull Police promoted two (2) officers to ranking positions in their department. Brian Falkenstein and Robert Harry, who are both military service veterans, were promoted to the rank of lieutenant and sergeant, respectively, in a brief ceremony hosted by officials at Town Hall.   Falkenstein, most recently served as a detective sergeant and has been with Trumbull’s police force for more than thirteen (13) years. His previous assignments included a term at Trumbull High School as a School Resource Officer (SRO).
