(Bridgeport, CT – Nov. 13, 2014) – Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that happened on Stratford Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Four males entered the City Side Grocery, at 1611 Stratford Ave., at about 3:30 p.m. Three brandished what appeared to be handguns. The employee turned over cash and the suspects fled on foot. A witness, another employee at the store, arrived and chased the suspects. One of the suspects dropped cash and a handgun and stopped to retrieve them before escaping on foot.
