It was a real pleasure meeting the crew at Land Surveying Services LLC on Fairchild Avenue in Fairfield today. I found out that land surveying is needed for more than just building. 11:12pm--#Trumbull CT--Tonight's car fire at Huntington Turnpike and North Street after a crash. All occupants are out of the car and it is now fully involved. A firefighter was stung by a bee responding to the call.
6:22pm--#Fairfield CT--A woman on Beaver Street (you can't make this stuff up) called police to report that teens drew pornographic images in front of her house in chalk. The teens then went into the wooded area. She believes they were smoking drugs and drinking...... 2:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of a small porch fire in the back of 99 Scofield Avenue on the 3rd floor. Hopefully they won't need our friends at ServPro, but if they do they will make it Like never even happened!
11:43am--#Bridgeport CT-- Alert police on patrol spot a car with an individual wanted on a warrant by the ATF is apprehended after a brief pursuit on Route 8/25.
9:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Some scary moments in Black Rock where a car crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Brewster Street and Grovers Avenue. Firefighters were concerned that the utility pole that snapped in half had shifted twice on them. Firefighters were able to extricate the two occupants who I'm told were alert and talking to rescuers. United Illuminating were quick on the scene but the pole belonged to AT&T who informed police it will require two hours for them to get there.
11:00pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT--Report of a two car crash I-95 northbound between exits 22-23 but traffic backs up around exit 24. First responders on the way. Traffic is backed up, take an alternate route if you can.
10:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Pizza Hut at 2133 Boston Avenue was just robbed at gunpoint to two young males, both with ski masks on. Police just arriving on scene. UPDATE: 2 black males, one wearing a black hoodie and black sneakers the other wearing a black t-shirt. They fled in a gray Toyota Camry.
