10:42pm--#cttraffic--I-95 southbound is at a crawl with a pedestrian that was hit by a car. Initial reports say he has a broken leg and may have fallen off the bridge near the railroad tracks. The person is out of the water, rescued on the Milford side.
7:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating shots fired on Baldwin Street (off Stratford Avenue). A shell casing was found and a car with nobody in it was hit.
4:19pm--#Fairfield CT-- A theft of a bicycle just occurred from a garage on Homeland Street by one Asian and two black males. They were last seen heading towards Park Avenue. Police on the way. 10:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man has just arrived at St. Vincent's Hospital shot in the back. He is unable to speak but coherently to say where he was shot but police were just in the 300 block of Iranistan Avenue for a report of shots fired.

The Bridgeport Police Department has launched the Arrive Aliveprogram aimed at reducing police-involved injuries and deaths while responding to emergencies. The concept was generated from the department’s Leadership Institute, a collaboration between Bridgeport Police and Sacred Heart University crafted to provide advanced training for police supervisors around the region. “Police officers have a duty to protect and serve our community,” said Mayor Bill Finch. “They also have a duty to come home safely to their families at the end of their shift. Every officer knows that seconds count when lives are at stake. 10:15pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Pedestrian hit at Olive and Wood Avenue. First responders on the way.
8:29pm--#Fairfield CT-- The Post Road at South Pine Creek Road was the sign of serious crash that required extrication by the firefighters. A woman in her 20's was semi-conscious and transported to the hospital.
8:31pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters responded to a building on Brewster Street with a gasolinne generator running inside. They found of course high levels of carbon monoxide. There were five people inside, none showed any signs of carbon monoxide poisoning and the refused medical treatment.
