POLICE UPDATE: Police say a black male victim, heavy set, approximate age late 20's, shot in the leg, left area on foot. 2021-08-15@1:24pm--#Bridgeport CT--A person was shot in the 100 block of Catherine Street. In the picture police investigate a car whose windows were shot up. Unknown if the victim was in the car at the time of the shooting. The victim was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

2021-08-14@9:15pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A witness told me a man was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver by a woman after an alleged "transaction" that went wrong in the 400 block of Norman Street. The woman fled the scene. The man was transported to the hospital and the police are investigating.

#Westport CT-- On March 26, 2018, the Westport Police began to investigate a stolen check complaintthat was lodged by a local resident. The complainant stated that his financial institution hadmailed him new checks which he said were never received. The complainant told the officer thatwhen he called his bank to ascertain why the checks had yet to arrive, he was told that one of thechecks that had supposedly been mailed to him had already been cashed.
