11:09pm--#Trumbull CT--A Beech Street resident called police that someone followed him home from the Trumbull Mall, and robbed him as he arrived home by two males with a gun. 11:30pm--UPDATE--Police say three intruders were already in the home when he arrived home. Unknown if he was followed from the mall.
(Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 6., 2013) – As we reported live as it was happening: Two people face charges in connection with an attempted street robbery Thursday in which gunshots were fired. Officers Chris Robinson and Ean Smith responded to the 800 block of Queen Street and spoke to the victim. The victim, 38, stated that he arrived home shortly before 1 a.m. and was removing items from his car when he was accosted by two people. One threatened to shoot him. Fearing for his safety, the victim began wrestling with the gunman. The second suspect entered into the fray and began striking the victim.
