I-95 Crash
12:22am--#Westport CT--#cttraffic--I-95 northbound crash between exits 18 and 19 with rollover and injuries.
Attempted to get in car
11:22pm--#Trumbull CT--Trumbull police on the way to Main Street just outside the Trumbull Mall where a man attempted to enter a car stopped at a light there. The woman driving the car had her doors locked and drove off then called police.
Help a firefighter who was burned out of his home
Monday 5pm to 1am at Fire Engine Pizza Company at 2914 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport-- There was a very large structure fire in Bridgeport the other night and one of the structures taken was the home of Bridgeport firefighter Richard Minfield. Rich carried a woman out of the burning multi-family residence before Bridgeport Fire arrived on scene to battle the fire and keep it contained throughout the remainder of the night well into the following day. Rich made the rescue donning only tight whities (which according to reports weren't the cleanest of undies.. it's ok Rich, we all get scared just ask Scott McAulay) as he covered the woman with his shirt. All kidding aside, Rich and his family lost everything. I can't even imagine…
95 crash
2:11pm--#Westport CT--#cttraffic--I-95 southbound near exit 18 a two car crash with injuries at the center median.
Fairfield U Assault
3:01pm--#Fairfield CT--Two ambulances were sent to Fairfield University Dolan Hall along with police. First reports indicated an assault in Dolan Tunnel with suspects with knives possibly on the fourth floor. Police transmissions warned about further transmissions until they knew what was going on. A radio report later indicated a head laceration from a door knob. A later radio call from police indicated one in custody and the second person in the blue shirt to be let go. As they say in the old TV shows "Be sure to stay tuned"!
