#Bridgeport CT--Police made two arrests and seized two handguns in connection with ongoing violence between two rival gangs in the city. Abdul “Major” Bradley, 18, and Davon Taylor, 19, both of Bridgeport, were arrested Thursday on weapons-related charges -- a day after police responded to another report of shots fired in the area of the Greene Homes housing complex. “There has been back-and-forth gunfire between these factions and we have intended targets who refused to say anything and preferred to handle it themselves,” said Police Chief Joseph L. Gaudett Jr. “If police hadn’t intervened, I believe somebody would have ultimately died.” The latest gunfire happened Wednesday in the Greene Homes complex. #Bridgeport CT--Video Report--Man shot in Bridgeport Shortly after midnight on Saturday morning shots rang out in front of 381 Hanover Street in Bridgeport. Initially reports said two people were shot and two ambulances were dispatched to the scene. After investigating it was discovered that only one person was shot. The location of where the man was hit is not known but I'm told he is in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital.

During the months of February and March, the Stratfield section of town experienced a series of residential burglaries involving the entry of homes via basement windows. Det Sgt Granata, Det Fucci, and Det Koval, members of the Burglary Squad conducted numerous surveillance operations in the Stratfield section and developed Nicholas Kulish DOB 8/1/1987, of Madison Ave, Bpt, as a possible suspect. These investigators monitored Kulish's activities over a period of time, and developed enough information to obtain a search warrant for his residence, where jewelry and other items stolen from these burglaries were recovered, and subsequently identified by victims. On 5/30/2013, Kulish, dubbed by some the "Basement Bandit", was arrested for 6 felony counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, 8 counts…
#Bridgeport CT--8:40am--A Staples Street grandmother called police this morning that her granddaughter is out of control and refuses to go to school. 10:03am--A Goldenrod Avenue person called police to complain about a chicken that has been in her yard for a couple of days. 1:54pm--A Williams Street elderly woman called police that two women forced their way into her home taking jewelry from her. She believes she knows one of the suspects.
