2021-08-07@9:20pm--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Emergency Communications received a call for a smell of gas or some other type of odor at 15 Shoreham Terrace. Quickly, the received another call that the 2nd floor window had been blown out. A short time later firefighters called for a full structure fire assignment. Within fifteen minutes they had the scene under control with one hand line in operation. There were no reported injuries and the fire marshal is on scene investigating the cause of the fire.

They even chased him into a viewer's backyard who was frightened and reached out to me. I contacted police who responded at 4:19pm: "At approximately 1400hrs, BPD was attempting to take into custody a party with a possible firearm. A foot pursuit ensued and is currently still active at this time. Once a final police report is approved we will provide additional information.

Hartford, CT — Attorney General William Tong and Department of Revenue Services Commissioner Mark D. Boughton today are warning Connecticut consumers of a scam in which they receive a threatening letter about unpaid federal tax debts. The fraudulent letter claims to be from a “Tax Processing Unit” in a Connecticut county and threatens legal action for unpaid taxes and provides a number to call to avoid enforcement. This is a scam.
